We are very excited to announce that our partnered charity for our event in January is TOLFA - Tree of Life for Animals.

Founded in 2005, TOLFA is a charity with animal welfare and people’s empowerment at its heart. They currently operate an animal hospital and related educational and support programmes in Rajasthan, Northern India but their UK home is here in Stroud!

We are so proud to be able to support this fantastic charity through our event. As well as having a free stall at Stroud Vegan Fair which takes place on Sat 26 Jan 2019, they will also be giving a talk about their story AND we are also going to donate 10% of any profits made directly to them.

Since 2005 TOLFA touched the lives of over 170,000 street animals in need including sterilising over 23,000 dogs in the surrounding area and vaccinating almost 28,000 against rabies (India has the highest human death rate anywhere in the world from rabies).

In the case of ownerless animals it’s their aim, wherever possible, to return recovered animals back to the environment, from which they were rescued. In special situations when this is not possible they are offered lifelong sanctuary. Without the treatment and care that TOLFA offers to any animal in need, most would simply die - often in appalling circumstances and in great pain.

If you would like to find out more about TOLFA and the work they do please visit their stall at Stroud Vegan Fair, or if you can’t wait till then why not visit their website:
