Not your average animal sanctuary

We’re very excited to announce that our chosen charity for Portishead Vegan Fair on Sat 23 Feb 2019 is the brilliant Dean Farm Trust.

The sanctuary is a home for life to over 130 rescued animals living in 62 acres of pasture, woodland and paddocks in South Wales.

It’s a small registered charity based just outside Chepstow home to rescued animals including Miniature Shetland ponies, Exmoor ponies, donkeys, pigs, sheep and ex-battery hens.

About the sanctuary

Many of the animals at the Sanctuary are extremely vulnerable and need extra care and support, some receive daily medications and treatments, as well as regular vet checks, homeopathic and alternative therapies and special diets. Each animal is treated as an individual with their own needs, we ensure not only their physical being is cared for but also their psychological well- being.

Giving back

The charity will not only have a free stall at the Portishead Vegan Fair, but it will also receive 10% of any profit as a donation. We’re inspired to do as much as we can to help the sanctuary.
