Cirencester Vegan Market embraces PRIDE for their June event.
A lot is going on in Cirencester on Sun 12 June. Not only will Cirencester Vegan Market take place in the Market Place as usual, but Cirecnester’s first PRIDE event will also be taking place in the Abbey Gardens. Both events are a part of Cirencester Town Council’s Wellbeing week programme.
We are so excited to be teaming up with both Cirencester Town Council and PRIDE in Gloucestershire to bring you this PRIDE themed Cirencester Vegan Market. We will be blasting PRIDE themed songs loud and proud, flying the PRIDE flag and encouraging all our traders to get involved and make some incredible themed products. Think rainbow cakes, cookies, candles, soap and more!
The market will be taking place in its usual place on the Market Place in front of the Abbey between 10am-3pm. It is free for visitors to attend and children and dogs are very welcome. The event is expected to bring in vegan (and vegan-curious) visitors from regions near and far to enjoy all things plant-based and cruelty free.
The market will deliver fresh and exciting vegan products and produce, from an array of vegan street food, baked goodies and sweet treats to sustainable fashion brands, cruelty-free cosmetics and beauty products, face-painting, and ethical arts and crafts stalls, to name but a few.
Daisy Botha, Founder of Aarde Events and Vegan Fairs organiser, states:
“We can’t wait for our PRIDE Vegan Market next month. Our events have always been inclusive and open to people from all walks of life. We’ve had many previous traders and volunteers who have been a part of the LGBTQA+ community and we’ve always been vocal in our support of LGBTQA+ issues.
Veganism at its very core is about compassion for others, be that for animals or for our fellow humans who we share this planet with. I think it’s a great fit for us to work together.”
